Situated on the Algarve coast of Portugal, just to the West of Faro, Quinta do Lago is justifiably considered the one of the finest residential golf resorts in Southern Europe.

The original concept of the resort was set out in 1972 and has now largely come to fruition with only a few plots yet to be developed. This means that the resort has had time to mature, and is not plagued by the constant noise and pollution of development often found in other similar resorts along the Portuguese coast.

Some of the things that make Quinta do Lago so special are its wide green spaces with a construction density of less than 8%, its privileged position beside the Ria Formosa Natural Park, and its proximity to Faro airport.
It still remains one of the most sought after destinations in Europe.
